Meet Ezgi Kaysı – MSP from Yasar University, Turkey
Tell us who you are?
I am Ezgi KAYSI. I’m 20 years old and I’m 3rd year student at Yasar University and studying computer engineering department. Also, I’m Erasmus student of information technology at KHLEUVEN ( Katholieke Hoogeschool Leuven ) in Belgium now. I am MSP of Yasar University during 2009- 2010. Also, I am manager of Marro.ws project in Turkey.
Tell us about your University?
Founded in 2001, young Yasar University is an academic institution that acknowledges the universal identity of a scientific organization with enthusiasm, genuineness and devotion with its 300 staff members, 200 being academics, and 2600 students in İzmir; the city of the Aegean’s civilized, humane and art and science conscious people.
The vision of Yasar University is to identify Yasar University as a “boutique university” which is loyal to scientific, ethical and moral values, responsive to global change, practising efficiency as an indispensable part of quality, and making efficient progress resulting in success, coordinated by carefully-considered decisions , educating experts who have the highest “designing skills”, “project-based work experience” and “artistic sensitivity”.
Tell us about your MSP history, when were you awarded?
I was awareded to msp this year 2009-2010. I am happy to be member of MSP and Microsoft groups. Unfortunately, I left my role of MSP because of my Erasmus program. But I want to be MSP next year again.

Meet Asil Kaan Bozcuoglu – MSP from Bilkent University, Turkey
Tell us who you are?
Hi, I am Asil Kaan Bozcuoglu, a Turkish Microsoft Student Partner and a Computer Engineering student from Bilkent University. As a computer engineer student, I am interested in Robotics, Embedded Systems, Mobile and Web Development.
Tell us about your University?
Bilkent University is one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey. It has great campus with lots of opportunities for students in both social and educational manner. It is also ranked in 129th place in the Engineering/IT discipline at the web site www.topuniversities.com . Another important thing about Bilkent is that Microsoft Innovation Center Turkey is located in our campus.
Tell us about your MSP history, when were you awarded?
I awarded in this August. Before that, I tried to apply several times but never submitted my application. Applying to be a MSP is very tough process in Turkey. You need to record a 15-minute video and tell what you are and why you are eligible to being a MSP in those 15 minutes. It took me several weeks to record that video but I can say easily that it was worth it.
Meet Olcay KÜK – MSP from Eastern Mediterranean University, Turkey
Tell us who you are?
My name is Olcay KÜK. I’m MSP of Eastern Mediterranean University and I’m attending Information Technology. I’m interested in .NET Technologies and especially .NET Security also Windows Server System security.I have worked at PC Magazine on Security Editor position between 2005-2009 years. Nowadays, I’m leader of CETURK community. CETURK is the best and most popular IT community in Turkey. I’m president of Software Club at my university since 2007. We are organizing seminars and activities in our university.
I am MCP, MCTS, MCPD certified since 2008. So that beginning of 2010, I’m manager of Futurex Technology Information Solution. We are developing Web and Windows based applications using with Microsoft Technologies.
Tell us about your University?
Eastern Mediterranean University is founded in 1979. University is located in Turkish Republic of North Cyprus. It has the best and basic university in cyprus. About 16,000 students are receiving education at EMU.
Tell us about your MSP history, when were you awarded?
I’m awareded this year 2009-2010. I’m happy to join the MSP group.
What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies while focusing on your education?
I’m interested in Microsoft technologies closely. So I like working on these technologies and projects. Nowadays, I’m developing graduation project using with Microsoft technologies. These are my lifestyle.
Meet İlkay İlknur – MSP from Ege University, Turkey
Tell us who you are?
My name is İlkay İlknur. I’m 4th year student of Ege University and studying at Computer Engineering Department. I’m MSP of Ege University and also INETA K12 Speaker. I’m developing Rich Internet Applications using Silverlight and focusing on upcoming technologies like Silverlight 4.0, C# 4.0, .NET Framework 4.0, Parallel Programming and WCF.
Tell us about your University?
Ege University is the biggest university, which was founded in 1955, at Aegean Region of Turkey. More than 44,000 people are studying at Ege University located in İzmir. Our Computer Engineering Department was founded in 1983. Now, more than 600 people studying at Computer Engineering Department.
Tell us about your MSP history, when were you awarded?
I was awarded this year and this is my first time but unfortunately last time because this is my last year at university
. Last year I didn’t have enough information about Microsoft Student Partners Program. I wish I had applied this program last year.
Meet Daron Yöndem – Silverlight MVP and Microsoft Regional Director from Turkey
Tell us who you are?
My name is Daron Yöndem. I’m a Microsoft Regional Director, currently a Silverlight MVP leading INETA Turkey. I’m the founder of Deveload Software, an ISV based in Istanbul. For the last five years we are focused on UX as a .NET house. We are building Silverlight and WPF apps including rich multitouch implementations. I have two books about ASP.NET AJAX and one about Internet Explorer 8 development.
Tell us about your MVP history, when were you first awarded?
I got awarded on 2008 as an ASP.NET MVP and had the chance to be one of the first five Silverlight MVPs in the world. It was a great luck to have the new competency declared at the same moment as my renewal period ![]()
I’m an MVP who likes capturing screencast, writing articles on local User Groups and physical interaction
which is (for a computer geek) seminars and conferences about technical beauties. I feel very lucky leading INETA Turkey and our 30+ User Groups. We have annual events with different concepts where we get 10+ INETA Speakers and lots of MVPs contributing to the community.
Meet Ibrahim Ersoy – MSP from Anadolu University, Turkey
Tell us who you are?
My name is Ibrahim Ersoy. I’m MSP of Anadolu University attending “Bachelor of Public Management”. Besides MSP I’m a Software Developer, 3D Enthuastic and licensed chess-player from “Republic of Turkey”. I’m Interested in new and upcoming technologies such as Servers, Business Systems, Game Development Technologies. I’m studying on integration these technologies together these days.
Tell us about your University?
Anadolu University is a state University founded in 1958 and it is one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey. Anadolu University is located in Eskisehir. Currently it has over 1.400.000 students attending.
Tell us about your MSP history, when were you awarded?
I’m awarded this year i.e. 2009-2010. I thought about it several times to apply before but in 2009 I’ve applied and awarded as MSP.
What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies while focusing on your education?
Actually, I’m very comfortable with my education because my exams start on April 1st. So, I have planned a schedule. There are times when I’m totally working with tools and technologies and there are times when my focus is on education and exams. If you plan your life then there’s nothing you need to worry about.
What does being an MSP mean to you? and What makes you a great MSP?
In my opinion, MSP is a student with high technical background. A great MSP must have one or more of these:

Meet Burak Selim Senyurt – Connected System MVP from Turkey
Tell us who you are?
My name is Burak Selim Şenyurt. I am from Turkey. Actually I am a mathematics engineer and also I have a graduate degree for Master of Business Administrative program. I have been developing a .Net Applications since 2001 and my first application was written in Delphi. Then I followed the steps of Andres Heijsberg. Now a days, I have been working as a Application Development Consultant for Turk Telecom Company.
Tell us about your MVP history, when were you first awarded?
I have been an MVP since 2006. In 2006 and 2007 my MVP scope was Visual Developer-Visual C# but it’s Connected System Developers for the last 2 years. During my MVP history I produced a lot of technical articles, web casts, screen casts and seminars for a C#Nedir (www.csharpnedir.com) and NedirTv (www.nedirtv.com) communities.
What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies?
I have been working with Visual Studio 2010 for a long time. Especially I concentrate on these technologies; WCF 4.0, WF 4.0, Workflow Services, RIA Services, WebHttp Services, Data Services, Parallel Programming, C# 4.0…
