Recently Dean Hachamovitch, General Manager of Internet Explorer said on the Internet Explorer blog that HTML5 will be the future of the web and that Internet Explorer would only support H.264 for its video tag.
He said “H.264 is an industry standard, with broad and strong hardware support. Because of this standardization, you can easily take what you record on a typical consumer video camera, put it on the web, and have it play in a web browser on any operating system or device with H.264 support”

Internet Explorer 9 User Interface Mockup!
Uptill now, we only evaluated Internet Explorer 9 Preview build but Chinese page purportedly features a couple of leaked screenshots of IE9′s new GUI. I personally feel that these are just mock interfaces as it look quite similar to the twitter client by istartedsomething.
According to neowin, “The general design is reminiscent of the new Windows Phone 7, with a clean, angular look and graphics that are “cut” on the edge of the window (like that back button in the top-left corner). Even if it’s just a mock-up, it’s still quite impressive, and an interesting break from what we’ve come to know from Firefox, Chrome and Opera, not to mention previous versions of IE.”
