Preview “Windows 7″ at Gitex

Microsoft Gulf announced that technology fans in the Middle East will receive a sneak preview of its latest operating system, Windows 7, that will run on new PCs at Gitex Technology Week and Gitex and Gitex Shopper & Consumer Electronics Expo in Dubai.
The new desktop operating system will be demoed five days prior to the global launch that is scheduled to take place on 22 October 2009. Visitors will also be able to buy Windows 7 pre-loaded onto laptops at Gitex Shopper.
As Platinum sponsor of the Gitex Technology Week Global Conference and Gitex Shopper, Microsoft Gulf is playing a leading role in Gitex Technology Week, including a high-level keynote speech.
Microsoft will also have additional speakers at the Gitex Global Conference, who will deliver a range of presentations throughout the exhibition and at the new Vendor Theatres located in the Consumer Electronics sector.
Microsoft Gulf will also host a stand at Gitex Technology Week to meet its business clients in the Middle East. In addition, Microsoft will also host an ‘experience stand’ at Gitex Shopper to showcase how users can take advantage of the powerful new functionality in Windows 7 and Windows Mobile.

Gitex Technology Week will open from 1pm – 7pm on Sunday, 18 October 2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
