Tell us who you are?
My name is Evren Ayan, I am an active blogger and Regional Evangelist of ISPA (International Sharepoint Professionals Association) since 2008. I’m currently working as Solution Architect for Ceviz Information Technologies. My areas of expertise include portal and collaboration solutions, architectural solutions and related technologies.

Tell us about your MVP history, whenwere you first awarded?
I have been awarded MVP title in 2005. Until 2006 my MVP technical expertise was XML Web Services. In 2007 I was awarded the MVP title for Connected System Developer until the end of 2008. In 2009 my MVP technical expertise was Windows Sharepoint Services:Architecture which I still hold. During my MVP history I have written a lot of articles and presented seminars for well-known local software communities like


What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies?
I try to follow blogs, forums and visit Microsoft site to follow up what is coming up.I have been working with Visual Studio 2010 for a long time and I continue to review Microsoft Sharepoint 2010. I practice technologies in beta stage in virtual environments for faster adoption.

What does being an MVP mean to you?
It is a great motivation for me to keep up posting and continue with communal activities. It’s all about being appreciated for sharing the knowledge of your competency with community.

What do you do when you are not building software’s?

I love spending time with my friends and my wife. I am an active blogger also I spend a lot of time in social networking sites like FriendFeed and Twitter.

What makes you a great MVP?
Well, I don’t know if I am a “great” MVP or not but I know one thing for sure that I work very hard. I write technical blogs and articles for the users. I try my best to answer their questions in newsgroups, forums and in my personal web site.

It would be a “Sharepoint Conference” because it has some fascinating features coming up with the new version.
