Tell us who you are?
I’m Baki Onur. I was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1981. After graduating from high school, I trained myself to become an IT Specialist in areas related to Information Systems. I got a bachelor degree in Finance. Following this, I decided to continue education in this area which had always interested me. With this in mind, I decided that the US was the place that would best afford my expectations, and proceeded to study English language in Boston, USA.

With over 10-year experience in this area, as a 6-year MCT, I have been a technical player for BilgeAdam (Turkey’s most prestigious IT academy) for over four years, has significantly contributed to the emerging awareness of Microsoft Technologies in Turkey. I have written over 100 technical articles published on sistemuzmani.com, bakionur.com and yazgelistir.com. I have also written the first Windows Server 2008 book published in Turkey, have presented Microsoft technologies in over 50 universities and have been an active member of the IT platforms.

I have been working for BilgeAdam as a Senior Consultant at Microsoft Systems & Platforms Unit. Nowadays, I am currently focused on Windows 7 and the other Microsoft Client platforms. I also like to share my works on Virtualization Technology, Windows Server 2008 / R2, and Exchange Server. I also have been studying as a Grad school student in Computer Science at Okan University, in Istanbul, Turkey.
