Double-Take Software is presenting a series of seminars in the Middle East region with Microsoft and Intel on how to create disaster recovery solutions for Microsoft Exchange 2010, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, and Hyper-V environments.

Attendees will have the opportunity to discover more about Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V R2 architecture, discuss features for high availability within Microsoft’s virtualization platform Hyper-V and learn how to put together disaster recovery solutions for implementations of Hyper-V and Exchange 2010, based on Double-Take Software’s products. Other topics for discussion will include how to migrate over to Hyper-V, and how to protect data at remote and branch office environments that are based on Hyper-V or Exchange 2010.

“With our latest versions of Exchange and Hyper-V, we are providing organisations across the Middle East region with ways to achieve significant cost savings around their communications, messaging and virtualization strategies. Working with Double-Take Software, we can provide our customers with simple, cost-effective disaster recovery for these platforms,” said Microsoft.

Olivier Cohen, Sales Director EMEA from Double-Take Software, commented, “These seminars will provide attendees with a great opportunity to learn more about the ecosystem of products that are available to extend and increase the value that Microsoft Hyper-V and Exchange 2010 can deliver to companies. Double-Take Software’s complementary solutions for these products provide disaster recovery functionality that suits the needs of organisations with branch office environments, which are typically affected by bandwidth constrictions and latency, as well as smaller deployments of Hyper-V R2 and Exchange 2010.”

Double-Take Software provides a simple, cost-effective disaster recovery solution for both Hyper-V and Exchange 2010 implementations. Using Double-Take Availability Full Server Failover, companies can replicate data from their production environments to a secondary site over a WAN connection. If a disaster occurs, companies can quickly have their backup systems up and running with up-to-date copies of their workloads.

The Microsoft, Double-Take Software and Intel seminars will take place on Sunday 14th March 2010 at the Hotel Sheraton Abu Dhabi and Monday 15th March 2010 at the Hotel Sheraton Dubai.
