Tell us who you are?
My name is Mohammad R. Daoud, I am Microsoft Dynamics GP Most Valuable Professional, the founder and the CTO for Great Package for Business Solutions in Amman – Jordan, my career path was started in 2005 where I did improve my technical skills in my first company and did start getting my certificates. Since my background in application development was great, I started with the Technical certificates (Installation & Configuration, Modifier with VBA, Report Writer, SQL Server 2000 Programming, SQL 2000 Administration, and SQL 2005 Programming and Administration). Few months later, I started getting involved in business assessment analysis and requirements gathering, which was my start along with GP, after singing off my first project with GP 7.5, I been expert in this field, and been certified in functional part of GP (Financials and Supply Chain) and so on.
Tell us about your MVP history, when were you first awarded?
Actually this is my first year; I got nominated in 2008 and certified in April 2009.
What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies?
As a start, I never missed any of other colleague’s blog articles; I follow all the available blogs in the Dynamics GP community or any related technologies, to be always up-to-date day after day with Dynamics GP technologies and features. The next important things I do check every day are the Dynamics GP newsgroups; everyday new questions are being posted, those questions have big implication on my experience, if the question was known to me then it would be great to share my knowledge and answer, otherwise I will add the question answer to my knowledge.
What does being an MVP mean to you?
It means allot, very big motive to keep up posting and community activities, it’s a very nice award from Microsoft to thank your work.
What do you do when you are not building software’s?
Installing new GP modules and learning new tips and tricks, in addition to blogging, community activities and finally having hubble-bubble and playing cards!
If you could ask Steve Ballmer one question about Microsoft, what would it be?
How does Microsoft position itself within the new approach of cloud computing?
Had a chance to attend “MVP Global Summit”? When and how was your experience?
Unfortunately not yet, but planned for 2010 MVP Summit in February.
What makes you a great MVP?
Not exactly “great”, good is enough! But basically the most exciting feeling I live is when I works on a case that challenges my experience. Posting an article about this success and its resolution is the highest!
What you think about the MVP’s role in promoting technology in Middle East?
They play a big role; they are Microsoft army that specialized in understating and sharing the new technologies to the others through online and offline community activities.
What is in your computer bag?
Laptop Charger, my iPhone Charger, External hard disk, USB Memory Stick, Wireless mouse, allot of documents and allot of business cards!
Who are your top 5 favorite Middle East MVPs?
Muhanad Omar, Mohammad Al Saleh.

If you get a chance to suggest one conference in Middle East? What would it be and why?
It would be introduction on Microsoft Dynamics GP for university IT students, since allot of IT people in our region has no idea what is Microsoft Dynamics and what it would be used for.
What is the best thing that has happened since you have become an MVP?
MVP award gave me more self confident while presenting the application for new customers and when answering newsgroup questions.
Who are your top 5 technical experts in your professional circle (from your country)?
Majdi Barhoush, Rami Al Baik, Mohannad Omar, Mohannad Al Atari, Ibrahim Omran
Which was the last book you read?
I am not a good books reader! Can’t remember exactly what was my last book, but for sure I am a very good manuals reader and enjoy reading technical documents.
If there was one place you could travel to, right now, where would it be and why?
United States of America, to meet the elders in my field, I am very much excited to discuss technical issues with the other MVP’s, and currently all the current Microsoft Dynamics GP MVP’s are in the US.
How can one be a part of MVP Club? Any suggestions for them?
For sure allot are asking on how to be certified, the short answer is just LOVE what you are doing and share as much as you can.
Any Message you want to give to the readers of MicrosoftFeed?
Having the knowledge is great, but sharing the knowledge is the best.
