Lebanon - Windows 7 Launch at Lebanese American University

Lebanese User Group recently in association with Microsoft and LAU DotNet Club organized a “Windows 7 and Imagine Cup Launch” event at Lebanese American University – Beirut, Lebanon on Tuesday, 15 December 2009. More than 150 people attended the event. Good Crowd, Good Questions & Great Passion & Spirit of Technology rocked this event. It was a great job from the students and club committee of LAU DotNet Club especially Mohamed Karnib , Wael Komaty and Jalal Loubani. Ali Rebaie ( Lebanese User Group & Microsoft dotnet club president) and Samer Chidiac ( Microsoft Developer Evangelist) presented at this event.

Lebanese User Group is the first and only official non-profit PASS Chapter operating in Lebaon. They are sponsord by Microsoft and PASS. They also facilitate the knowledge and network among the Lebanese community by organizing meetings and events to hear the top industry speakers and get other valuable offers and encourage the community sense among members. They spread the knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, BI platform and the entire spectrum of Microsoft technologies.
